Im thinking about building a tripod feeder for hogs on the farm but I keep hearing about pig pipes. Which is a better way to go for a spot that I already have pigs coming to with just throwing corn on the ground by hand?

tubes work great for keeping a hog busy for a shot but the problem is that a group of hogs can empty one over night. i use both because i can't fill the tubes everyday and the spin feeder (which is set at 3 seconds) puts enough corn of the ground to keep them coming back when i can't get out there to refill the tubes.

I put 2 tubes out last week and the dump pigs havent figured out how to push em around yet. Back to the topic I like the tubes better as they are cheaper and seem easier to fill. With a feeder you hav to worry about coons, or thef eeder getting knocked over and torn up. Just my
