Welcome to THF ranchwagon. I can over look the unsweetened tea and the beans in your chili. Mrs Smokey likes beans in her chili and she is Ok. My first automobile was a Mopar. ‘68 Dodge power wagon. First year they had a big block V-8. Nice shop! Moved here from Southern California and the flat brimmed hat kinda starts you off in a box that is hard to get out of. Do you wear white sunglasses with the flat brimmed hat when out tooling around in your VW? Good call on the picture of the girl with the bug parked next to her. My answer would have been similar. A question of risk vs. reward… No left handed cigarettes here either, even though Norml is my friend.

that is only 1/3 of the shop, otherside is the break room and bathrooms, and saw room with the band saws, cold saw, surface grinder and material storage, compressors, etc. other side is the qc/clean room with cmm and then the office. i still have my old powerwagon, 1977 with a 440, 727, d60 and np203. friends want me do a 5.9 swap, but i allready have 5.9 in the megaslab, longbed mega... wait for it...with the stupid mud grapplers poking out. fiberworxs 4" wider,4" taller front fenders. none of that wheel spacer nonsence, just huge front hub killing offsets.and big front ranch bumper from my lurking before joining the forum i knew the flat brim, beans, and being from so calif would go over fantastic! have not wore any white sunglasses for about 10 years, when i did tho... i had them yuge white fly eyes costas with green lenses. all my friends gave me hell for wearing " ladies sunglasses " hahahaha. might as well pour the rest of the gas on the fire.... i have pretty thick skin and expect no less from the forum. i am a round toe, wedge sole work boot guy, i tried squares but running lathes and having to stick my foot in the footswitch pedal to open and close collet/chuck on the cncs, just did'nt work for me. i think i am just outside the triangle, but i tell friends about it and to keep the dogs from roaming out of sight and getting into trouble.

Maybe at least a few hard returns for a new paragraph and capitalize new sentences?? Sure helps these old eyes. I don’t bother reading long paragraphs like that.

Enough on your shop and home state, how are your hunting skills, can you age and size on the hoof, what Outdoor Channel shows do you watch, what kind of caliber and bullet do you shoot, meat hunter or trophy hunter, Blacktail or Whitetail, can you tightly group 3 successive shots at range? Let's hear about those things so we know what you bring to the THF table. Welcome, btw

350legend and 45colt are my caliber of choice. meat hunter. pretty short range shots only about 50 yards to the feeder. i am seff taught.i cut the cable several years ago and follow zero outdoors channels, and don't do any socials. watched some you tube vids on cleaning, and practiced on few hogs. before attempting the axis. nothing to bring to the thf table yet, but mabey some questions for the experts

What part of CA did you live in?

A Democracy is when two wolves and a lamb vote on the dinner menu. That is why this country was specifically not designed as a Democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic.
