This is my go to frozen dinner Marie Callendar's Chicken Pot Pie.

I miss TV TRAYS, Grandma's cooking, and good cartoons. I use a TV tray everyday. We have a set of four. I keep one open beside my recliner and use it for snacking and to put my coffee cup on. They come in handy!

Better than the 70's Swanson. Ate a bunch as a kid in the 70's, Hungry Man. Frid chicken my favorite. I would not eat it today. Good stuff, but not fast. 30 minutes in the oven. I probably made it sound like they weren't any good, but back then I guess they weren't too bad. My mother worked a lot as a court reporter so I saw many TV dinners.

A great song, and video, by ZZ Top When I was younger it was a quick meal. Not any more. The way my bride cooks I don’t need or want one…..

Better than the 70's Swanson. Ate a bunch as a kid in the 70's, Hungry Man. Frid chicken my favorite. I would not eat it today. You guys were lucky, mom bought the stores cheap off brand.  TV dinners were the death of a lot of good home cooked meals around our house.

My mom bought them all the time when I was growing up. Patio was my favorite until I moved out after high school. Then I could afford the Nigh Hawk TV Dinners. HEB makes some fresh heat and eat meals that are pretty decent if you're in a hurry. Other than frozen lasagna, I haven't bought anything even close to a TV dinner in years. https://www.heb.com/search/?q=Meal%20Simple

I liked the Marie Callenders until I read the label: 110 percent of the daily saturated fat guideline and 56 percent of the sodium. Man, TV dinners were a big treat when I was a kid in the 1950s. Put on my jammies with "feets" and had one all to myself on my own TV tray, watching the little GE black and white with all the tubes. I know -- prehistoric ...
Agree not healthy but best ones I ever tried were from them and their pot pies are good but do not read the label.
