Are you going to specialize or concentrate on Firearms? If not, I wouldn’t let potential clients think that you were a gun specialist. It might cost you other clients.
I don’t know enough to make a judgement call. But, if I was liquidating my mothers estate, I would look elsewhere.

Also considering the recent bank problems ChadTRG4 posted about and KRoyal too, it might be in your best interest not to have anything gun related in your business name or DBA to make it easier to fly under the banking radars. Banks seem to constantly be changing on what each will allow.

I suppose the dba could be something plain as well "UZ Outdoors" or something like that. Are you going to specialize or concentrate on Firearms? I already do have a focus on firearms, such as drafting NFA trusts, and am handling a couple of ATF matters at the moment. I routinely include a firearms section in most ordinary revocable trusts that I draft (for clients who own firearms). So the FFL should dovetail nicely with my practice. But what most clients see and notice in my office is the coin displays. Those are interesting and inoffensive even to liberal clients.
