OP Roll-Tide THF Celebrity Joined: Jun 2015 Posts: 18,817	Spent most of the day cleaning up backyard. Figured I would unwind and put a fire in the outdoor fireplace. I can be a cheap azz, was driving down street a few weeks ago and saw some wood stacked up to be bulk pickup. Couldn’t really identify it. Figured I would collect some. I fired it up and it smelled awful, hard to describe. I had to get hose out and shut it down. I’m guessing it was maybe a sweet gum or ash. From now on, I will stick with oak, pecan, hickory, mesquite. Favorite is piñon or cherry.
