Nolanco Pro Tracker Joined: Dec 2022 Posts: 1,509 Sweetwater	I was getting ready for work at a lumber yard in Eugene, Oregon, that morning when I heard a double boom -- like twin sonic booms. I wondered what it was, then heard what happened on the radio a few minutes later. It turned out the concussion from the eruption struck in concentric waves from the mountain. Some folks who lived closer to St. Helens didn't hear a thing.
