Yeppers. People watching was good yesterday but this massive flea market just ain’t my thing. Got bamboozled and now am trapped. Still can’t believe the two ex-bull riders have been here before and put up with this crap. Unless something turns radically, this will be a once in a lifetime experience.

I did some work for the phone co. In Carmine back in late ‘70s. The local joke was a guy pulls into gas station in Carmine, and asks the attendant “ Is this Carmine?” Attendant answers “ you should know, you drove up in it”. Truly corny!

Im not sure what your "grass" comment meant but the first time I was in that part of the world I was surprised by all the improved pastures and big trees. Very very pretty.

It’s green there cause they get about 60” of rain annually.

Cows here fortunate. More grass in Fayette and Washington counties than all of South TX.
