Conroe is finally getting a new DQ after the roach infested one was shut down a few years ago.

Yep, Nothing great about any of the whataburgers I've visited in the last few years. Haven't found any fast food place good, let alone great. Still not sure of the chick-fill-A draw. Also mediocre at best. But most of the sit down chain restaurants aren't much better. Maybe I just need to eat less. A good hunger makes anything taste better than it actually is.

I feel Whataburger always tasted better after the bars closed when I was in my 20s. When I go now, I feel it is mediocre at best.

Mayo on a burger is ghey…save that for ham sammiches, cole slaw and oiling your kids bicycle chain.  Only good for turkey or chicken sandwiches here. Also tuna fish but rarely eat that.

Conroe is finally getting a new DQ after the roach infested one was shut down a few years ago. Bush's in Hamilton was shut down several years ago for selling meth. You could get some meth with your chicken. I think I would prefer a place selling meth over one that is roach infested.

Conroe is finally getting a new DQ after the roach infested one was shut down a few years ago. The new DQ in Anna is as bad as the Whataburger and I didn't even think that was possible.

Whataburger is fine when it's on, but it greatly depends on the manager, I've found. They can take an average staff and still get good food if they'll invest the time in working with them. But, you get an average manager, and it's very easy to turn out a bad product.
We have a crew that eats there every Wednesday for lunch (and has for the last 6-7 years). Nothing has changed since the buyout, but you can see the quality ebb and flow with staff, and particularly, manager turnover.

I’ve give it my best shot. I’ve tried several throughout the state. Service is always super slow, mediocre food at best! Screwed up orders a lot. All the same story. I don’t get it, you guys can have it! The one in Anna sucks big time. I agree and disagree. Out of all the times I've been there they have only gotten my order right one time, but whatever I end up with is always fresh and fantastic. The other day I went to get a sausage BOB, but got a sausage taquito, but damn it was the best taquito I've ever gotten from WB. It's literally a game for me now. I place my order and can't wait to see what I actually get. It's like WB Roulette.
