I’ve give it my best shot. I’ve tried several throughout the state. Service is always super slow, mediocre food at best! Screwed up orders a lot. All the same story. I don’t get it, you guys can have it!

Yes they do. Anything that unhealthy should at least taste good.

We splurged today and got Whataburger. They messed my double. I "was" a die hard Whataburger fan. Now, I will avoid them. And the drive through, Fuhgeddaboudit!! It took 48 minutes once, and yes, I timed it. And their breakfast burritos that used to be HUGE, are now tiny with all tortilla. I'm also done.

I loved their breakfast burritos but you need 5 of them to fill up now so I gave up on them.

I don't eat there after it was sold. Tried it 3 times, and it changed.

The patty melt isn’t too bad, hard to mess one up.
I used to get the grilled chicken wrap but they discontinued it.
But, yeah, they lost a few steps when Chicago took over.

Thats so strange. Ate there just last night as I often do when going back and forth to the lease. Never can remember a problem. Only issue is my truck smells for awhile which I dont mind but others have commented.

I swear Whataburger goes out of their way to hire the WORST employees available. Their menu is decent, and the food is good enough IF it’s fresh and made properly. That never happens though.

The only locations worth a damn are in rural areas staffed by kids and adults that actually give a chit. All bets are off if you visit a metromess location.

I forget people regularly eat fast food. I generally eat pretty clean, get my meats from a local butcher with his own cattle etc…I eat fast food once a year and what it does to my stomach reminds me of why I don’t eat expensive plastic/preservatives more often

Poor service. That is what you get when you hire kids. Waited 30 minutes in the drive only to be told no shakes the ice cream machine was broken. Nobody filled it to make soft serve. This was a 24 hour store. Done with it.

I guess its like real estate(and deer leases), very site specific. Ill have to make sure and stay on my usual route. Once again, no issues at maybe a dozen different ones over the last few years.

I took my grandson three weeks ago for his first WAB we ate inside, the place was disgustingly dirty.

He said he liked Freddy's much better and that Whataburgers cold french fries suck. I told him to chunk them in the trash or eat them because IF I took the back I'd be worried one of the thugs behind the counter would spit on the replacement. Never again will I eat at WAB.

They were going downhill before that.

I hit the one in Brownwood frequently when going to/from my lease. Food is consistently good and service is at least adequate. Never had an order get messed up and never got cold fries. I eat there 1 - 2 times a month. The drive through can get backed up, but that's mainly just due to volume, not slow service.

I agree with both of the above statements.

They are good at taking a long time to mess up an order of food that is mediocre, at best.

The one in Anna sucks big time.

The one close to me in Hurst is no problem. Better than the other fast food (burger) joints.

I don’t eat there often. Cholesterol problems have me eating a lot more chicken and fish. No choice but getting tired of it.

How do you not ever eat fast food? I don’t love it now but I’m on the go almost 7 days a week. Just curious how one doesn’t do it unless you are retired or work in an office all day. I don’t want to spend hours meal prepping

The only one I eat at these days is in Lampasas. Normally when I stop there it is right around noon. Not terribly slow never as backed up as Bushes and better then McDonalds. The best thing about Whataburger is they have real onion rings. Last time they forgot the ketchup but I just take it home so no big deal. I grab my food and pull into the golf course parking lot to eat it.
