Despite how resilient my son is and how he can just shake off injuries without crying, he still gets emotional and cry’s when asking about his baby sister that went to heaven last week. I try to be his rock, but man he sure can bring tears to my eyes when he starts asking where his baby sister is and why she isn’t coming back.

Last week my wife had a miscarriage, then complications during surgery, now she’s having excessive bleeding and blood clots. We find out tomorrow if she will have to have an emergency hysterectomy. This has been an emotional roller coaster for all of us. It’s been a long road to get pregnant but with the help of in-vitro fertilization we managed to on our first try. We were blessed with a baby girl but she became an angel before we could meet her.
