Even tough little boys cry

Despite how resilient my son is and how he can just shake off injuries without crying, he still gets emotional and cry’s when asking about his baby sister that went to heaven last week. I try to be his rock, but man he sure can bring tears to my eyes when he starts asking where his baby sister is and why she isn’t coming back.

Last week my wife had a miscarriage, then complications during surgery, now she’s having excessive bleeding and blood clots. We find out tomorrow if she will have to have an emergency hysterectomy. This has been an emotional roller coaster for all of us. It’s been a long road to get pregnant but with the help of in-vitro fertilization we managed to on our first try. We were blessed with a baby girl but she became an angel before we could meet her.

If y’all can, please say a prayer for my wife and son.

BP, someone told me about this last week and I wanted to reach out but I wanted to wait until you said something first. Just know that I have been praying for you and your wife, and your family, since I first heard about this. We have been through the same thing (more than once) and know the pain your clan must be in. Very sorry to hear this. Wife through this (D&C) but the older sibling was too young to understand much (3 years). According to the Lord's Grace, she got pregnant the very next month and he's now 15 years old and sitting across the room from me.
