I long for the days of Schlitz, Falstaff and Pearl. When life was good and we didn’t have all this falderall to even consider.

Never thought of beer as “hipster” per say but there does seem to be a push amongst that type of crowd towards more of the craft beers…

I personally like light beers on a hot day or while fishing, dove hunting etc. I think they all taste about the same and anyone who says different is either lying or it’s just in their head. There has been a trend on social media where they film guys doing blind taste test on 5-6 light beers and they never get them right.

I get having a preference on light beer but don’t say one is completely disgusting and another great. There isn’t that much difference.

If I’m just wanting a few beers or one with a meal I prefer a darker beer. I like many of the stouts but I do not like the IPAs

All in all I prefer Miller light or Coors for my light beers and Shiner for something a bit darker.

Miller Lite and Coors Light flavors are about as similar as Pepsi and Dr. Pepper.

Pass the gravy.

With the occasional exception, I mostly drink IPAs. I also like eating grapefruit.

That’s completely understandable, it’s not for rookies, it’s an acquired taste.

Man I haven’t been called a rookie in forever 🤣 and really all beer is an acquired taste. I don’t know of many folks who had their very first beer and instantly fell in love lol

I really enjoy all styles of brew, including Lagers, Pilsners, Porters, Stouts, and Ales. But sometimes a light beer is the perfect choice for me!

I used to drink mostly light beers, but they were rather tasteless, so I went back to real beer. Like somebody said, if I like it, I’ll drink it.

If you’re in to coffee stouts and find yourself in Colorado, Sad Panda’s coffee stout and 4 Noses El Jefe con Leche will change your life..

More like Pepsi and Coke…..DP and Pib

I love seen many many videos of guys saying the same thing and watch them eat crow when they can’t differentiate between their favorite and some other light beer.

In response to this thread I tried a Guinness yesterday. They need to stick to the book of world records. Their beer sucks.

You need to try it with an IPA.

Nice black and tan there. Never had it with an IPA so now gotta try it.

I'm an IPA fan and TUPPs in McKinney makes some real good ones.

I grabbed that pic off the internet, I was kinda joking. I have not had a back and tan since my single days early 90's. Its a good driking to order at the bar because the chicks say "Oh wow, what is that?" banana

Light beer first, then you can float the stout pouring over a spoon, there are youtubes on it. I though all back and tans were mad with IPA, but a little reading I just did I guess that is not the case.

I like beer, light beer, dark beer, stouts, lagers, bocks, pilsners, they all have their time and place. No, I didn’t omit IPAs by accident, have you ever watched someone take their first sip of an IPA, looks like a cross between pain and disgust.
