Saw it last night. Had to use 10X Binos to see both planets. Pretty cool, Tonight is the night for direct alignment. I heard it will end the new COVID Strain

I think he meant 25* looking to the Southwest. That is where I have been watching it, it is really bright to the naked eye, but with magnification you can see both planets.

Supposed to be only 10 degrees above horizon to SW around 6:30 out here. Might be an issue due to the large trees.

Using my spotting scope from about 30x you can see the moons of Jupiter and the rings of Saturn in the same view. They're moving pretty fast, at higher magnification you don't have it in frame for long.
One shot is all it should take.
