242 miles, but I own it so it's well worth the drive. Tons of deer from the park that is next door also helps.

about 4 hours for quail

about 45 min for ducks

From what I know, most people on the quail lease are from SA or Austin. Even on public land it seems to be the same. I have to be one of the few that make the drive from Houston. Makes me wonder about my priorities.

Not on a lease anymore. Maybe in the future, but the last one was 70 miles one way, driveway to gate! Longest distance was about 5hrs one way.....

About 80 miles from my house, 53 miles from my work.

When I was a kid, my uncle would sit in his recliner while watching TV, leaving the window open. During commercials he would pick up his shotgun and shoot out the window at the squirrels, never leaving his chair.
