How far do you drive

How far does everyone drive to their place where they hunt? I'm trying to find a new lease and since everything seems to be 3+ hours away I am trying to justify to myself if I am willing to drive up to 4 hours each way as I will be going a lot to hog hunt. Especially pulling my camper hopefully diesel prices stay low lol

75 miles from my driveway to the front gate.

Oh if only I could find something that close within my price range haha

123 miled door to door.

Walk out tbe back door and hunt, but also have a lease right at 6 hrs away. Like having my own place right here, but also enjoy getting away for a while.

I walk to my stand from the house. But, Im special.

I've shot hogs while i was sitting on the back porch. Probably around 600 yards down to the blind/feeder pen. My last lease was exactly 300 miles from my driveway to the gate. After 5 years it got to be an ordeal.

2.5 hours driveway to blind.

453 miles from driveway to front porch of the lease cabin.

197 miles from my driveway to the front door of my trailer.

3 hours or so. Find the right place, and it's worth it. I wouldn't make that drive for just any lease.

5 hours each way, just over 600 miles round trip

Haven't been there yet but it should be a little less than 3 hours. 11 Hours one way if we go saltwater fishing.

3 hours and 45 minutes with no stops and no traffic or 275 miles each way. I go to the lease 12-14 times per year.

6 hours, Frisco to Kerrville (Comfort). ride down is always fun, ride home is an AW.

About 70 miles up until this year. 40 miles.

Imo increase your budget to keep it as close as possible. Fuel adds up especially pulling a camper.

6 hours to the one in the Hill Country and a little less than 2 to the one in East Texas.

4 and a half hours to the wifes family owned place, 1 hour to the new lease.

We drive 850 miles to our hog hunt every year. Kind of makes it a one time a year deal, unless the annual Christmas trip down to see family turns into a hog hunt.

From what I know, most people on the quail lease are from SA or Austin. Even on public land it seems to be the same. I have to be one of the few that make the drive from Houston. Makes me wonder about my priorities.

~300 miles or ~5+ hours (detour thru Lampasas for corn) to SW of Ozona

~156 miles or ~2.5 hours to east Texas

It takes about 3 hours just to get out of DFW and see hunt-able land.

That being said, my Father-in-law's friend's place is ~1.5 hours for waterfowl and supposedly deer, although I've never seen one.

530 miles each way.. Own the place and being retired we spend at least a week each visit. Stay from October 1 to Dec 20th all hunting season!!!!!!!!!!!! I sometimes have to pinch myself so I know I'm not dreaming!!!!!!!!!

Five minute walk out my back door to first stand. 20 minute drive east to my second stand. And 2 1/2 hour west to Evant for the main lease. Been there 20 years. I used to hunt near Juno in the mid 70's . Love the country but I don't miss the long drive.

220 miles. Just got on a fantastic lease and the drive is so worth it
