Dad's trusty Mini 30. We split up his guns early last year because his Alzheimer's is really kicking in.

New to me Sako 75 270 with Zeiss HD5 3-15x42. I used my dad's Sako L579 243 since 1998 but the deer are bigger up around Breckenridge so why take the chance?

It's still a toss up for me! Bring the 'Ol Tikka T3 in .270, or the new 6.8 spc????? Hmm...........

I'll have my grandpa's old winchester model 70 in .270 most likely. Other options are.. Remington 700 CDL in .223 or my Matthews Reezen. Will probly sit in the big box blind in the morning with the .270, and hit the tree stand with the bow in the afternoon.
It'll be a gametime decision

I'll still be packing the bow.....but the Ruger 30.06 will be ready if needed. Been using the same rifle since 1976. (dang, didn't realize it's been THAT long!!)

I wish I could say my T3 270 but unfortunately, it will be my Sig 226 as I will be on duty. But that is ok, I leave Tuesday morning for a week of muledeer hunting in NM.

Went with the 6.5CM today.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

Found this post a little late. I carried my Rem 700 CDL 25-06 loaded with 115gr Barnes TSX handloads with Nikon Monarch scope. It founds its mark when the sun came up.
