Soccer games Sat morning with kiddos, Texas Tech vs Texas in Lubbock Sat night, 630 kick. Terrible football, I know...Don't judge me...I am at the lease the next two weekends! On a positive note, we will fire up the Ranger for trick or treating Friday night, so I'll have to pretend I'm creeping through the brush on the way to the blind.

Soccer games mid day this saturday and next saturday along with a family birthday party sunday. 5 days of hunting the starting Nov 12.

I just walk out the back door, but for you fellas that can't make the lease over the week-end, throw us a bone for Petes sake! Lease location, gate lock combination, blind location and feed time, the rest of us will take care of ya

We'll hunt over Thanksgiving and most of the week of Christmas. Maybe a day or two in between. Not this weekend though.

Headed out at 9:00am Friday morning as I have a ton to do.... My year to handle dinner so I'll fire up the smoker and add the wild pig hams for several hours then the wild pig ribs for another couple of hours then the peppered Montreal venison chops and finally the Jalepeno/Cheddar Venison sausage. I'll finish off with the homemade bacon/molasses baked beans and grilled corn with jalepeno cornbread made from scratch. Everything should be ready for the rest of the guys arrival around 7:00ish and the beer should be nice and cold by then. We will most likely wrap up the evening with fine Nicaraguan cigars and multiple rounds of Crown Black or Woodford Reserve....so unfortunately, I may not be able to hunt Saturday morning either.

I get to go to Austin Saturday, day trip, then home Sunday for the NASCAR race... yeah that's fun

Ill be hunting the Big Sam this year so I'll let the crowd thin out a little before I head to any of my spots. Besides, the inshore saltwater fishing is ON right now and the crowds on the water will be nonexistent opening weekend.

Staying home this weekend with the kids and doing the Halloween stuff...Kansas the next two weekends, maybe three

Would like to but have a family member visiting from out of town. No big deal, always glad to see family!

Heading out this weekend, haven't had off but I do this weekend. Doing Trick or Treating then heading out with the family. Gotta take advantage of time off and enjoy the lease while we still have it.

Just started with a new company and have no vacation... but told them to dock my pay if they have to, because I'm going no matter what. Taking Friday off as well. I may not have a job when I return, but it's a risk I am willing to take. I haven't missed an opener since college.

Will be driving down to Houston Friday night from Dallas for my daughter's soccer game Saturday morning. Coming back Saturday night and will hunt Sunday, however..
