Hey guys. Was wanting to get into the duck world. Currently have a 3" bps. Is that a good setup for ducks or would you recommend something different?

That'll work. I'm shooting an old 870, AKA 'Boat Paddle'

If you are interested in a good guide and want to learn a lot, hook up with Kirk (DUCKHUNTR35). My first duck season was last year and I went with him then, and then again this year, and he was great. I learned a lot and he brought in the ducks both times. Great guy and very, very beginner friendly.

Any gun you can hit them with is a good one.

Appreciate the response. Figured it was ok but you see these guys out there with autos and camo etcetera. 3.5" guns. Just wanna make sure I didn't need a new gun lol

No need for 3.5 for ducks. I shoot 2.75 most of the time anyway. I shoot a old boat paddle as well.

Everything has to be brand new and have to have all the latest gear or it's not worth going! That's what I tell my wife grin She is getting wise to it though so I'm glad I got most of it while she was still figuring it out.
