Hey guys. Was wanting to get into the duck world. Currently have a 3" bps. Is that a good setup for ducks or would you recommend something different?

That'll work. I'm shooting an old 870, AKA 'Boat Paddle'

If you are interested in a good guide and want to learn a lot, hook up with Kirk (DUCKHUNTR35). My first duck season was last year and I went with him then, and then again this year, and he was great. I learned a lot and he brought in the ducks both times. Great guy and very, very beginner friendly.

Any gun you can hit them with is a good one.
Appreciate the response. Figured it was ok but you see these guys out there with autos and camo etcetera. 3.5" guns. Just wanna make sure I didn't need a new gun lol

No need for 3.5 for ducks. I shoot 2.75 most of the time anyway. I shoot a old boat paddle as well.
Def need a new gun! You can never have too many guns!

Everything has to be brand new and have to have all the latest gear or it's not worth going! That's what I tell my wife
She is getting wise to it though so I'm glad I got most of it while she was still figuring it out.
Get out
Get out now
Duck hunting will leave you broke and heartbroken
It's not worth it
Don't invest another penny - just quit while you are ahead
