what got me was I got to the ranch about 2:30.

I show up and the thermo was already at like 98. About 3 I decide to hell with it i'm gonna go sit in the blind.

Him and My wife decided while I was hunting they would go fishing. the blind I was at way maybe 500 or so yards from the lake. Plan was if I shot they would come get me.

they dropped me off enroute to the lake and I climb up and get ready. I was only in the blind about 30 min or so when that deer walked across the road and I was able to get a shot at him.

He dropped at the shot so no tracking needed, and I wait, and wait, and wait some more. this was before I had AT&T so my I couldn't call him so I decide to hoof it. I had to walk all the way around the lake to where they were next to the dock. I am all sweaty and tired when I get there and ask them if they heard me shoot?

They both said yeah, we did, but we figured you missed. I then ask "well, didn't yall think to at least come see?

the reply was "well, we thought we would, but we started catching fish, so you know..."

If you live in burleson I would imagine not

Go to Bandera and there are just as many axis as there are whitetail
