We have caught over 50 pigs around the St.Augustine,Dowdy Ferry,and 45 area. If some of the south Dallas residents saw what we have caught in the park areas, they would shag arse. We were told about the trapper down there, so we quit running the dogs. It might have had more to do with the heat and snakes.
Hunting down there inside the city is illegal if you are on public land. Police are really on the lookout this year for anyone running dogs or hunting. The city is trying to turn the area into a park that will attract folks from North Dallas.

Well there's no posted no hunting signs or painted trees so untill someone telles me to get out I'm still hunting the thick stuff. Not close to that park anyway

They will never attract the folks in north Dallas to go to a park in south Dallas.

About a month ago a few friends and myself were on I-45 on our way back from Galveston. Right in Houston I see a hog as roadkill on the shoulder. I was the only one that saw it and no one else would believe me.
