I can understand them not allowing gun hunters in some of these areas, but at the very least they could allow bow hunters to help thin the ranks a bit.
Regardless, urban pig populations will continue to rise if these cities take this "sit back and watch" approach.
They hired a trapper but he never caught any pigs. It was on tv awhile back. He was supposed to trap 'em then take the pigs to a hog buying station/slaughterhouse, then turn in the receipts to the city hall. Apparently, he never turned in any receipts. That means on paper, he never caught any.
I was reading on his Facebook page awhile back that he was charging money for hunting on City of Dallas property. Maybe he wanted to shoot 'em with paying clients rather than trap them. Who knows? Dangerous to do that since families with kids walk nature trails down there.
