not for defense, but getting chow food

Its defending your stomach from lack of food and your family from starvation.....and you can carry a few thousand rounds without much bulk or weight. I would definatly have a 22 in my line up along with....
AR15
12ga
and a 9, 40 or 45

Yep, I get that. But the OP asked for opinions on best 4 guns to defend yourself.

I can carry a WHOLE LOT of 22 ammo and if I good enough I can TAKE someone elses bigger gun if needed.

I've got quite a bit myself, but I'll just reach for my bigger gun when protecting myself. I promise you won't take it from ME.

Well then I guess you'd have a whole lot of 22 ammo and a couple of guns...
I was kinda planning on taking from who ever invaded us but...

I'll agree that a 22 may not be the first choice for self defense, but it's certainly adequate to defend yourself in almost all situations. The only thing it maybe lacks is immediate close range stopping power, but otherwise, it'll do the job.

Don't forget Hinckley fired a Röhm RG-14 .22 cal. revolver six times at President Reagan and look at the carnage he caused.

If someone's trying to take something from me, a 22 will work just fine to keep them at bay or even take them down if necessary.

You could fit 300-400 rounds of 22 in a pocket if need be. How many pockets would it take to fit 400 rounds of 223?

Red Dawn.

Realistically,

CQB - AK47.
Sniping - MY browning xbolt 30/06
Sidearm - Glock 21sf
Stealth ops - AR 300blk suppressed/subsonic rds

Ideally,

M249 SAW
Cheytac M300 .375 Intervention
Glock21sf
Stealth ops - AR 300blk suppressed/subsonic rds

Any invading force wouldn't stand a chance.

Some guns here, some guns other places, plenty of ammo for each nearby.

So, if I have to leave, I choose a couple to take, then lock the rest in the hidden safe in case I need to retrieve them later.

Shotgun
Sten gun
Suppressed pistol
Rifle
