In our case it would be to boycott a Texan with large land holdings in CO.... that makes a ton of sense. I guess we could quit going and it affect how much money eventually gets spent in the DFW area.

I gave up Keystone when I quit going to College Station. I've switched to DirecTV...who needs chipotle when there's Freebirds. I ain't giving up my crocs and could go all my life without eating at Red Robin. There you have it!

I have AT&T, Wally WOrld knock-off of Crocs, and Chipotle's sucks, but Keystone is gonna be hard for me to quit.

Used to hunt there. Wife and I debated whether or not to retire to Colorado or Arizona in a couple of years. It won't be Colorado.

If you really want to play this game better add all companies from California, New York, Illinois, and a bunch of smaller east coast states to your list.
I learned long ago you can't reason someone out of something they don't reason themselves into.

AT&T, Exxon Mobile, JC Penney, Texas Instruments, etc.,etc.,etc..... Dang sticking to all these principles is hard.

The hard parts of this are the hunting guys who are trying to vote in more conservative people. Dallas is getting more anti everything each day, so do we concede the major Texas cities? Support those who you feel support you. With no gun people in Colorado who will be left to lead the fight? BTW it's easy to see how these governments are going. When the redefine words like "marriage" and "drugs" the word "rights" is next on the list.
Live right. Do right. Demand the same in others. Screw off. Lie and cheat. Have no regard for the actions of others.

This has definitely turned into a funny thread! Thanks for the laughs guys.
On a more serious note, I think if we change the way we hunt in the state of Colorado we are giving the Liberals exactly what they want.
If we boycott hunting there and/or using outfitters etc... they have easily defeated us with this legislation. If anything we should hunt there more than we ever have to let them know we aren't going anywhere and we are going to continue to enjoy our freedom.

The same is going to happen right here in Texas starting next governor elections. I don't think many Texans realize, all the mayors of our major cities, are pro gun control. I guess Ft. Worth isn't major enough.

If you do decide to cancel a previously planned trip, please take the time to let the folks in Colorado know what prompted your decision. Otherwise they may blame any decrease on the economy or just a change in people's plans. They will probably blame it on George Bush!

X2 Pitch you nailed it! Do not punish the true Americans there! Find ways to hurt the pocket book of the companies & politicians that are taking our rights & freedoms away!!! I agree with you except punishing the outfitters. Obviously, they are against this legislation. Now , we need all the other businesses in Colorado that think this doesn't affect them to be against this legislation as well. I canceled a vacation to Colorado this summer. I will not spend a dime in that state if I can help it. I won't even buy Magpul again till they leave. Yes it may hurt some people, but maybe it will give those people some balls to stand up and take their state back.

Gun based boycotts of non-gun companies have never resulted in a successful impact where the entity has changed its position in a manner positive to gun ownership. There is no indication that this one will be any more successful and no reason to believe it could be.
