My stainless Colt Python .357 is the one I regret selling the most. I bought it for $600 in '94, sold it a few years later. Now I can't seem to find one in the same condition for less than 2.5x that price.

No remorse, but it's funny watching a couple of guns I sold pop back up on the trading post with my hands in the pictures...

Sold a matched pair of Ruger Vaqueros in 45 colt stainless with faux ivory handles. Needed some funds to get married (now divorced, what a waste)

One was the regular gunfighter length (4 3/4") and the other was a Sheriff's model (3.5") with a bird's head grip.

I STILL miss those things.

I had no buyers remorse because I dont go out and buy them on a whim and I have no sellers remorse because I still have all the ones I have bought.

Too many to list including a left hand 20 ga. 870, Interarms Mannlicher in 308, a bunch of lee Enfields, and a Colt New Frontier. Had solid reasons for selling each gun, but still miss them now and then.

Never sold a gun I liked, so no.

model 70 (I believe it was made in the 80's) heavy barrel, wood stocked 22-250. Sold it about 12 years ago and haven't seen one like it since.
Remi R-15 with 18" barrel and collapsible stock a couple years ago.

Still can't believe I sold either of those, especially for the price I got them at. GRRRRRRRR

Had a Smith 28 "Highway Patrolman" for a while...had I known how hard to come by they would be in this day and age...

Had a S&W 442 that was given to me and I shoulda hung on to it, but there was no hope of a concealed carry law at that time and that's all it was good for, so...

Had several Ruger Mk.Is and Mk.IIs with the 5-1/2" bull barrel. Another case of failure to predict the future...

Had a Sako in .30-06 I took in on a swap. I never even put a scope on it, and I've always wondered what might have been...

Had a 4-5/8" New Model Blcakhawk in .41 Mag I had to give to a friend to compensate for his brand new, unfired S&W Model 19 which I lost on a "hunting" trip. That one had an accidental trigger job to die for. Yeah, accidental. Long story...

A pair of Norinco 1911A1s. Weren't much to look at, but as reliable as stones. Another case of now-you-see-um, now-you-don't.

Had a beautiful six-inch Python for a while which got traded for a horrid Kimber 84M Classic, which got traded for this, which got traded for that, and---cripes, I can't remember how it all went down! But maybe I shoulda kept that one...

That's how it goes, though. If I could afford to own everything that appeals to me all at once I'd just keep 'em all, but sometimes I want a new experience that I can only acquire by giving something else up. I'm sure many are in the same boat!

Exactly. I'm a gun collector.when we have the money and a gun trader when we don't.

I just bought a Marlin 25MN. I've always liked them and found one for $249 at a local gun shop. I tried to talk him down a little, but ended up with a free box of Fiocci ammo instead.

But to keep OT, I sold a 1970's vintage Charter Arms Bulldog .44 Special a few months ago, which I had owned for about 10 years. I couldn't pass up an offer of $600 which is double what I paid, so it went. But I miss it because it was my favorite concealed carry gun. So lately, I have been looking at the Rossi 44Mag snubby, or a Taurus M445.

I sold a Marlin 22LR to a pawn shop when I was 18 for beer money.
My Dad have given me that rifle when I was 5. When I got a few years older and realized what a dumb arse I was I vowed to never sell another.
And I never have. I am 41 now and have a "quite a few" pieces.

I regret everyone I sold but the one I regret the most was a Stoeger Cougar in .40 S&W. I got it when they first hit the market for $299 and it was a steal. Now they are easily $399+ and hard to find. It was a great shooter.
