After looking through all the gun buy remorse posts I thought I would start up a gun sell remorse post. I am always looking for guns and after reading though the other post kind of ruled out some I might have been interested. I figure this one will help me narrow down kind of what I want.

I cant't start us off because I have never sold a gun I purchased or was given to me. I know my dad won a beautiful Browning cynergy over and under 20 at a skeet shoot for his business. He had it awhile but was nervous about throwing it in the boat or duck blind so he eventually sold it after never even firing it. Oh how I would have enjoyed that thing.

I've had several that I regret getting rid of over the years.

Remington Model 788 in 223 - Sold it to a buddy that needed a varmint gun, who later sold it to a different buddy. I'm stil trying to get that gun back. bang

Weatherby Accumark in 257Wby. - Sold it to add to the down payment on a new bass boat.

Weatherby Vanguard 243. - I really don't know why I got rid of this rifle. It was a SHOOTER for sure. Sold it here in the forum and would buy it back in a heartbeat given the opportunity.

Mossberg 930 SPX is one I was thinking of looking into with the pistol grip and 8 shot. I like my other 2 mossy's and I like the way this one looked.

I regret selling my first AR, but I did use some of the funds to complete my SBR. Look at the pics on the phone and just wish I hadn't.

Winchester model 70 in 30-06. It wasn't a pre 64 but was made in the 70's and had maybe 3-4 boxes shot thru it. Mint condition. Good shooting gun too. Wish I had never let that one go.

Another one I forgot about was another mint condition gun. This time it was a Remington Wingsmaster. Sold it to a buddy on the cheap. Wish I would have kept that one too bang

CZ75 Compact with Crimson Trace grips. That gun just fit me, reliable as heck. Traded it for a .40 cal Sig 226 that I hated.

My Dad sold a Rem 700 in 223 that was a shooter and he still talks about that gun.

That stuck with me, so I have never sold a gun I regretted. I've sold plenty but when I sell one I make sure I'm over it before I let it go.

Mint lee enfield no4 mk2 or mk1 don't remember (couldn't resist my 60 year old mentor who lit up like a kid on christmas when he saw it) would never ask for it back, means far more to him than me.
almost sold my m1a when prices were up over the last few months. glad my buddy here talked me out of it.

I've only sold a few, and I truly don't miss them because it allowed me to buy what I really wanted. No sellers or buyers remorse

Every gun I ever sold, including last year when I had to sell them all off for the divorce. Slowly building the collection back up.

Ruger SR1911. Had been dipping into savings way too much and wasn't going to do it again. Even my wife said it was stupid. And she was the one on my [censored] about the savings account.
