A good QUALITY bushctaft knife
With that you can make shelter, fire to cook food and boil water, signal for help

Container to boil water would be my first choice. I would make a knife from stone and then all other survival necessities can be made from that. A container to purify and transport water can be extremely difficult to obtain in the wild. Can be done though. A good bow drill is easy to make if you practice ahead of time using a sharp edged rock.
Just remember your rules of 3.
3 minutes without breathing (drowning, asphyxiation) 3 hours without shelter in an extreme environment (exposure) 3 days without water (dehydration) 3 weeks without food (starvation)
And the most important rule. Stay calm, use your head and think it through. Panic kills
Lol not if its anything like around here....find a creek bed and you can find all the containers you want...maybe even a meth lab Yes sadly that's true for a lot of places. All depends on the environment your lost in. You wind up lost in the summer in Utah or Arizona miles upon miles from water sources and civilization. A knife, gun, fire starter, GPS, ect will do you absolutely no good if your looking at a 20 to 60 mile walk between water sources. Without a way to transport it you will be dead in a couple of days if you don't find another source and are smart about your travels. yup i could see that.... think ill stay away form utah and arizona...

The winning Mega Millions lottery ticket! Seriously, I don't know because I'd probably have enough junk with me to do just fine.... maybe an extra pack of ciggaretts.

Knife with saw blade and if sumptin else it would be a magnesium fire starter.

A deck of cards. If you get lost, sit down and start playing solitaire. Pretty soon SOMEONE will come by and tell you to play the black jack on the red queen.

Some of these answers are retarded.
550 paracord shoe laces, camel back. . . only thing I "wish" I had was my dog.
He doubles as a tracker, can find water, alert when something goes bump in the night.

Warm in winter, makes shade in summer. Besides, I can order her to make me a sammich.
