I Have always been partial to John Deere green with Yellow poka dots.

I vote for whatever is easist to repaint in the future.

John Deere green is great but I see it everyday I go to work!!

I would leave it like it is cause deer don't care. But the wife says it is ugly

if it is going to be elevated then you might think about sky colors. if it is low to the ground and it is brushy where you hunt then base coat OD and use brush and weeds from your area as stencils using dark brown and black.

If you seriously can't pick up or make a stencil then solid color that thing tan.

My opinion is the color doesn't matter one bit...the deer are going to get used to the blind and color won't make a bit of difference...(think red/yellow gas tanks).


Now there may be a difference if you are not looking to deer hunt out of this and instead use it for a covert meth lab or moonshine factory...but thats a different ballgame all together

Myself, I like a tan-based camo pattern (and voted that way). But, I have no delusions; the camo is all for me because I think it blends with the landscape better. You could probably paint it red and the deer would get used to it.

Here's mine:

I voted for the tan based camo pattern. If it needs touching up, the patches won't be as obvious. The deer run polls on the best looking blinds to frequent.
