I'd love to see a sub 20" barreled, bolt action repeater chambered in popular pistol/revolver cartridges (9mm,357mag,40S&W,44mag,45ACP).

I think one of those would be quite a bit of fun for inside 150 yard game, naturally very quiet, and very suppressor friendly.

Have a custom 44mag boltaction with a 16inch barrel that is a lot of fun. I think Ruger is making a boltaction with less than a 20 inch barrel in 357 Mag now.

Wish list...
springfield Xds in 9mm.

Tikka to offer a model with a slightly heavier, but medium contour barrel bedded to a bell and carlson stock with a non reflective metal finish like ruger's matte gray. Chamber it in .243, .260, 7-08 and .308 using an actual short action bolt. Not a tacticool model, just a super accurate coyote and deer rifle. Use metallic magazines and offer a spare in the box. Keep the price under a grand.

.260 and 7-08 ammo to be price comparative with .308 and .243.

Remington to bring back the model 7 predator and offer a chamfering in most of the .308 case family.

John Wayne Winchester 1892 that never misses and never runs out of ammo, and I can walk around saying "Pilgrim......." and it needs to weigh under 4 pounds.

A CRF Mauser98/Model 70 built with integral scope mounts similar to the CZ, but high quality.

I'd love to be able to walk into the store and buy a "New" Luger 9mm Parabellum. Love the way they point. Lost to history, unless someone knows of a quality, firing-reproduction?

I would like to see a New Haven(not the current Remington hatchet job) Marlin 1894 chambered for the larger pistol rounds like S&W 500 etc.

A semi-auto 22-250 heavy bbl varmint... given the difficulties it would be unlikely, as the cartridge seems to be contrary when it comes to making an action cycle reliably. Wouldn't mind seeing more gun-makers offer a 8 or 9 twist on a 22-250 either.

A Springfield XDM in 357Sig.

This^^^ I love the potential of the round but hate being limited by the standard 1-14" twist.

Would also like to see a better selection of affordable 6.5x55s in stainless. I still kick myself for not picking up a Tikka when they were importing them. Used ones are hot items...

if I could get any of the gun manufacturers to produce something I want right now it would be ammo. I'd like to see all of them quadruple ammo production, flood the market and drive prices low enough that I could afford some.

A .223 revolver and a bolt-action 500 S&W Magnum.

I have a Handi-Rifle in 500 S&W and it's a hoot, but a nice bolt action in that caliber would be oh so much better.

That's why the good Lord made reloading presses.

I think once the US pulls out of the last 'stanistan and winds down from a war footing, we'll be surprised at how much ammo related stuff will be available. Prices on base metal products like copper and lead related to the war effort will also create availablities in other products from concrete & raw petroleum & chemicals & plastics to other kinds of specialized hybrid materials.

This is not a political statement, but I am old enough to remember trying to find Benjamin 22 cal lead pellets for months at a time, hunting for fired BB's to shoot again over and over & 22 Short ammo at a penny each for sale from a candy jar on the 7-11 type C Store counters after the Korean Conflict ended where there had been none at all the year before. Heck I bought 12 guage ammo by the each for mebbe a dime a piece at 9-10 years old from a 7-11 at 12th St & Edgefield in Oak Cliff... but they wouldn't sell me a plug of chewing 'baccy ... the shotgun ammo & plug were for my grandfather but I claimed them as mine LOL!
