aoudad is technically its own species.

they hail from the atlas mountains in northern africa.

as I've been told, Aoudad means "sand goat"

the term Barbary sheep refers to the Barbary coast where they are from

I am not sure what they would be. The closest look in similarity that I see is to some of the tur species.

I think a tur put it to a blue sheep and they made an aoudad.
