aoudad is technically its own species.
they hail from the atlas mountains in northern africa.
as I've been told, Aoudad means "sand goat"
the term Barbary sheep refers to the Barbary coast where they are from

Aoudad are closely related to sheep and goats, but are technically neither. Then what are they ????????? Aoudad.

I am not sure what they would be. The closest look in similarity that I see is to some of the tur species.

I am not sure what they would be. The closest look in similarity that I see is to some of the tur species.
look at blue sheep. I think a tur put it to a blue sheep and they made an aoudad.
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.
