It's for a 4-1/4 inch 1911 (Yea, my New SIG RCS ) I've actually used the VM-2 for a Full Size 1911 and liked it a lot, but have yet to try out the CB-ST. Which one would you say is more comfortable? Which is a better fit? Which one retains better? I like the leather loops on the VM-2, but do the clips on the CB hols just as well when drawing the pistol?? What do you guys prefer?? Also: If it matters, I plan on Appendix-Carrying... Thanks

My preference is for the versa max II. I have both holsters, but prefer the belt loops on the Milt Sparks and the way it retains the commander size .45 I carry. The clips on the Cross Breed are more of a pain in my opinion.
My 2 cents. Randy

Wish I could compare but having never used the VM, I am only able to give first hand on the Crossbreed. I bought from Crossbreedseconds.com. They sell crossbreed holsters that have blemishes for less than half price. Anyway, I have worn a full size 1911 in mine every day for the last month. A very comfortable holster to work in but not so much to sit and drive for hours.
