What kind of lights does it shoot out?
Like are we talkin the mini bulb Christmas lights or a 500 watt flood light?

Did not care for the clarity & groups using the 3x12x50 Weaver, It's going back to academy for a refund ! Got a Pentex Gameseeker II 2.5X10x56 ordered and in the mail Ebay

I don't want him to be disappointed in a few months when the thing malfunctions. I've never had a good mossberg gun, ever. I'd just rather stay away from them, and was trying to help him.

I've had 5 100 art rifles in different calibers all shot 1-2in groups at 200 yards.

OK we have changed out the scope twice now , tried 150 gr & 165,180 in winchester & remington , 2 different persons on the sled on the range and the best group was 4" Terrible & disappointed and called Academy today and they said they will ship it for free to mossberg for it to be fixed or replaced  Anyone else had problems with the ATR 30-06 ?

Only thing I will get from mossberg is a shotgun. Even then I like remington for a cheap shotgun. Best bet is to upgrade alittle even 100$ more will get you a little better gun

Sorry to hear that. I work at Academy and unfortunately this happens all to often with Mossberg bolt actions. It also might help if you put a better scope on the gun. I don't want to sound like a DB or anything but a $99 scope on a 30-06 ain't gonna cut it. At the very least, on a gun with that much recoil, I would get a Nikon Prostaff.

Well there must be lots of problems with the Mossberg ATR's as Academy refunded my money thank God . Decided on the Remington 700 ADL in the .308 for little more $$ and mounted the 2.5x10x56 Pentax Gameseeker II scope on it !
