.243 is what my 10 yr od uses....works everytime

Getting in this discussion kinda late, but I favor a 35 Rem lever gun, my AR in 5.56 or the 45 on my belt.
Then again theres the lever 357 in the truck for the surprise sightings. Or the 222 if range is an issue.
For me its just getting lead in um

am with yeh tbone , throw lead at them am like most whatever rifle i have with a load of ammo if am hog hunting for close work like a mini 30 with horady sst ammo , for long range my rem 700 in 30/06 and if hunting a certain hog i know to be real big and the shot close my 45/70 marlin will be in hand , and my 30/30 lever winchester for the hogs that just show up its my truck gun
NRA all the way god guns and guts made us free , i want all three

My ak puts them down! But my go-to is my marlin 45/70.

prefer 308, but if it's a 223, or 9mm, or 45acp, or 22lr, or 12 ga 7 1/2 shot, that's what I shoot at them
