A man who had a profound speech impediment lost his job due to cutbacks. He went from business to business trying to find another job. He came upon a publishing company and went inside.
He asked the only person there,"dddddddddooo yyyyyyou have any jjjjjjjjobs?"But The publisher, realizing he had little to do said,"I 'll give you a test, you sell this box of Bibles by Friday and I'll see if I can find you something more permanent."
The next day, the studderer was back and said,"Iiiiii nnnnnneeeed mmmmmmore bbbbbbibbbbbllles". The publisher, surprised as he was gave him two cases of Bibles.
Next day, same thing. Within two weeks he was selling four to five cases of Bibles, one book at a time. Word soon reached corporate headquarters about the new sales prodigy. The CEO came down and took the publisher and the studderer out to an expensive dinner. He told them they were both getting bonuses but the studderer was getting promoted to teach new salesmen his tactics.
"What are your tactics, by the way," he asked."How do you sell so many Bibles?"
"Wwwwwwelllllll, Iii jjjjjjust rrrrrrinnng the ddddoorbbbbbelll and wwwwwwhennn they answer, Iiiiiii ssssayyyy 'dddddddooo yyyyyyyyooouuu wwwwant tttttto bbbbbuy a Bbbbbbibbbbbbble, or ddddddooo yyyyyyyooouuu jjjjjussssst wwwwwant mmmmme ttttto rrrrread it tttto yyyyyyou?
