My friend's family came up to WTAMU to celebrate her 20th birthday and as a bonus we were able to go spotlight their hunting property right outside of Palo Duro Canyon State Park. Our main focus was to call in some coyotes (she's DIEING to kill one). During the second call setup we ran into a group of pigs feeding along the rim of the Canyon, was able to pop one of them before the group ran off.  We let things settle down then started the fox pro. Had a coyote come in but she couldn't get a shot due to a gun malfunction, it sadly does happen to all of us if we hunt long enough...... We left that place and checked a field we predicted the hogs ran into and our theory was correct, so WW3 took place as the pigs just stood huddled in the middle of the field in the spotlight about 70 yds from the truck not sure where to run to. The birthday girl was able to get a couple of pigs and I helped play cleanup on the other 2. Our weapons were a 22-250 Remington 700 Varmint SPS and a AR in 6.8 Spc. Pigs didn't stand a chance!
