I dont even duck hunt and i know what happened to Mr. Folies.
In my opinion he's a turd that got what was coming....I mean really? Shooting geese with a pellet gun just because they were banded and then just leaving them lay? Of course its sad that some much hype is put on putting some little metal band on a lanyard...i dont get it.

Oh and use google some more, the American Bison was nearly driven to extinction by white hunters, not Indians. In fact i believe the Army started killing bison aswell to impact a the major food source of plains indians....just sayin. Wait a sec! I thought we were talking about the American Buffalo, are we not? Now you're bring up the American Bison, which I'll agree, WAS over hunted by white hunters and the Army.

I actually googled this one and found several sources saying the same thing. Bison were here but buffalo weren't which consisted of the cape buffalo and asian water buffalo who are/were mainly in north africa, asia and southern Europe. Only bison were killed to extinction in the states though.
