I googled it and to be honest, I don't know that what he did was all that bad. I mean don't get me wrong, laws need to be followed, but sometimes I think they're too restricted.

From what I know, the Indians pushed the buffalo off their natural grazing range, which caused them to die out slowly. The lack of limit laws didn't have anything to do with it, so your example didn't make any sense. That's all I was trying to say.

Someone was asleep in American History. And, not trying to talk over you, but limit laws would have had everything to do with buffalos! The AI MAY have pushed them off the range.. that might be in the Golden Books, but the white man slaughtering them by the 100's and simply removing the buffalos hide---- not meat, only hides--- led to the demise of the American Buffalo, as well as the American Indian

Actually, barbed wire fences caused more damage to buffalo populations killing migration patterns. Some American Indian tribes were known to over hunt and strip lands bare of all resources then move on to the next spot.
