Started having hogs come to my feeder at night and they have been staying there until 8 the next morning. Was going to buy some of those lights that attached to your feeder, but they are 50 bucks. So I improvised. Walmart has their yard solar powered spot lights on clearance for 10 dollars. I'm gonna zip tie one or two to the trees and point them at my feeder and then blast away!!!! Probably not the first with this idea, but thought I would share.

been using them for a few years i run 2 to 4 per feeder, work great from 70 yds out, still a little ruff to see farther than that, I usually scan the feeder from farther out with binos, if there there i move in to aroun 60 yds for the shot.

I have had the white lights up for almost a year and the hogs (and deer) don't even seem to notice when the light comes on. Motion detector will let you know when something approaches your feeder at night. My stand is about 80 yards to the feeder and you can easily see game with this light. The great news is that it is still going strong, despite the fact that it cycles on/off multiple times per night every night. No battery issues in 11 months and that is bettter than I expected.

i JUST BOUGHT A SOLAR SECURITY ON/OFF LIGHT AT HARBOUR FREIGHT ON SALE AT $18.00. I might put a red lens cover on it. I like the security light option since it tells you when something is at the feeder.

I've tried the solar powered security lights with the motion detectors and wasn't all that thrilled with the results. It was always something...the motion detector didn't see the movement, the light was on too short of a time, light dimmed too soon, something.
I've been using the el-cheapo solar pathway lights mounted on t-posts. They stay on all night, every night so all the animals get used to them. A bit of downside is that they aren't as bright, but plenty bright to acquire the target through most decent scopes.
Just my .02...

The lights aren't the problem for me. It gets dark and my body wants to sleep.

here is my latest setup. a moonshine light that is set to come on with motion. battery life is great so i more or less use it to get the hogs use to the lights. i use the clear/white lens. one moonshine by it self does good but two is better and covers a better area. i now have only one on each feeder. i added a elusive wildlife kill light with added motion detector to my feeder. i switch it to come on when i am hunting because they eat up 12 volt feeder batteries. i added a light to my hog tube. having a good or scope that works in low light should be a part of your setup. i use a simmons scope, not the best but i have found that i can see the cross hairs with my light setup. i have the gun mounted light but with the feeder lights i don't need it.

I bought some for my boyfriend at www.wildcatlighting.com and it was really easy for him to install himself. And the first night he had it out he got a hog. I'm totally glad I invested the money because I won't have to constantly replace anything and it produces tons of light. Yall should check it out.
