Hey guys, I'm just checking in to see if anyone has had any activity? Has anyone been seeing anything or getting anything? I know when I talked to Rick, he said that once the pressure starts up the majority of the hogs have a tendency to move off his property. I'm just wondering if that has already happened.

Thanks Rick for letting us come out last night. We got out there late and set up in the dark by one of is feeders. We had a good night we saw two groups of hogs. The first was a group of about 12 and the second was a small group of 4. When we hit the first group with a hog light they took off and did not let a us get a good shot off as they were about 200 yard on the other side of the pasture. The second group the moon was up and we got busted, small sizes pigs and passed in front of us at 75 yards due to something we did they we hulling but. Again when we lit them up with the hog light they were already running and we did not have a clean shot to take and were in the woods before we could shoot. Man I am addicted now. THere were hogs out there last night and they were active. Good luck to those who are going out tonight and latter on.

Thanks for the good time Rick if you have more openings on the week end let me know and we would be happy to come out again.

Hey guys, for those of you wanting to know where Ricks property is or how far it is from your place, go to www.bing.com/maps.

If you just want to see a map so you can see where he's located, in the window where your curser is flashing, type Athens, TX then hit the enter key. You will need to zoom out to get a better understanding for where Athens is located within the state of Texas.

If you want to know how far Ricks is from where you live, you will want to click on "get directions." Then you will see a green flaf A and a red flag B. In one of these two boxes type your town/citys name and state you live in then in the other box type Athens, TX then hit enter.

This will not only show you the quickest way to drive there but also the estimated time it takes to get there.

Ricks is less that 10 miles west of Athens, TX. This should give all of you a very good idea. Rick himself will provide you with his specific address if you are actually going to go help him with his hog problem. Good luck!

I was just wondering if you were still letting groups come out and kills some pigs? We are good bunch of guys (co-workers) that would like to come out there and help take care of your pig problem. We will take care of your land and bring you up some corn. We are trying to see if Friday the 28th of Oct. could fit your schedule. There should be about 5 maybe 6 people. please let me know either way. My name is Matt phone number is 469-426-6842.
Thanks.

I really hope our THF'rs going over there take care of their business properly. There has to be other landowners watching this thread and entertaining the same offer. This is our chance to build a bridge (that is really battered right now) to property owners that have a large heart like Rick here.

Agreed Swede, We made a big sweep to make sure and get everything we brought out. I like to leave it as clean as it was when we came in.

I always leave it better than I found it if possible, just pick up trash and put in my pocket till I come across a trashbag. My bud who smokes even keeps his butts in his pocket.

I sure hope that this kind of hunter helping landowner thing continues.
