I like Earl's... but I'll tell you something. I get a little squeamish if I read the labels on most links. Just me, but I don't relish the thought of chowing on beef hearts. I know, I know... it's just meat. But, I'd really like it if someone would produce a good hot link with premium cuts and not charnel house leftovers. Maybe someone knows of one?

Janiks in Eagle Lake or El Campo makes a good hot link. Not really all that spicy, but are made to cook on the pit and are really good. I get a load every tine I go visit my folks in WHarton.

IMO... Pittsburg Hotlinks are NASTY! I tried them once when I lived out in Mt. Pleasant and even the chili couldn't mask that bad flavor. My favorite readily available have got to be Earl Campbell's with yellow mustard and relish...

X2 on kiolbossa or however you spell it. They are more like sausages but those things are juicy and flavorful. if i am not mistaken they are good cuts and no trimmings. they are pricey but you can go to costco and get a 2.5 pound pack for $10. Those myers elgin ones are pretty good too. i get those at walmart.

I only lie when I tell the truth.

Try the Pittsburg Hot Links (red). Never knew mechanically seperated chicken could taste so good.

I'm incredibly late to this party . . . But, if they're available in your area, they'll change your life . . . Zummo's Party Links.

Pittsburgh. Yes they can be greasy, just depends on who & how fast they are cooked. I use sweet baby rays bbq sauce instead of hot sauce.

I like EARL CAMBELLS,Both kinds. They make the old style red skin and the one you more commonly see is the rust colored skin. Both are good grilled. Mark

Best thing about Earl's and Beer is the next morning!!! Takes care of all the insects in the house and also runs the wife and kids out!!! So you get 24 hours of peace and quiet and the whole house to yourself!!!!
