Gander Mtn in Spring has it on sale for 6.99 for 40#. It's a sale price and they limit you to 20 bags. I don't know for how long.

Bought some last year to fill feeders before deer season.It was the worst corn I have ever seen.It was very old and full of dust.Won't buy from there again unless I check a bag before hand.

The dear corn this year is different from the corn last year, it is basically the same stuff you see at Wal Mart

last years corn was bad this year it was real clean bought a pallet of it so far so good.

8/17/2011 Parker Hdw in Junction Texas was $9.40 per 50.
West Bear Basin was $9.75 per 50.

I was in Gander and noticed that they had corn for $6.99/bag (40# bag). Has anyone bought their corn and how clean is it?

Last time I got some(last season) it was full of corn cobs. I built a filter with some hail screen and still used it because of the price.

Ditto on Academy. I got some good corn at Bass Pro too. Both will match prices.
Last year, I got some at Dick's and the dust cloud when the feeder went off was pretty nasty. I don't know if it was that batch or just their supplier.

Dicks is where I got mine. Plus if you buy 2 40lbs bags of corn you get 5 dollars of a bag of feeder fat.

Who has the best price on deer corn in the Austin/San Antonio/Houston area. I know its a large area but Im in sales so Im in each city a lot. Ive heard Dicks has 6.99 for 40 lbs.
