Has anyone ever tried hunting hog with a shotgun? If so what size shot works the best? I have about 20 hogs coming to my feeder that is approximately 25 yards from my stand.

25yds? I would just use rifled slugs (assuming you have a smoothbore shotgun).
Yes buckshot will work also, but at only 25yds a slug would be like killing a fly with a sledge hammer. You could probably get some doubles.

At that close of range I'd go for slugs too.

I like using a 12 ga moosberg bolt action slug gun with rifled barrel and Remington 1 and 3/8 solid copper sabots. Shoots just over inch groups at a hundred and 600 grains of solid copper at about 1600 fps will disapoint the biggest hogs on site or line up a few smaller ones.

I'd much rather sling 10 or 12 chunks of lead at a group of close range hogs than one slug! Ever heard of a skillet shot? I promise at 25 yards, you'll have more dead hogs with buckshot!

Use a gernade amigo...u'll get him like that... if you really wanna wipe out the lode you might try this... go to walmart and buy a bunch of sling shot shots. buy 1/2# of tannerite. after mixing the tannerite. put the tannerite on the ground. tape the sling shot shots all around the cannister of your tannerite. pour the corn ALOT of corn around the tannerite. when the hogs gather and you have a good clear shot. you know what to do.... by the way you may not wanna be 25 yards when you take the shot..... also make sure their aren't any cattle, game animals or anything valuable (feeder) within 75 yards or so.... let me know how it goes.
