Anybody been feeding pinto beans? Went to lease over the weekend. Deer are hitting the protein hard but we also filled our spin feeders with pintos/corn mix. Hope it works!

Dont pinto beans cost more than corn??? yup, but we wanted to feed something beneficial with the corn.

save the beans til deer season, then maybe you can hear/smell 'em when they fart!

I dont know about feeding them, never tried it. We did plant a food plot wiht them earlier this year that was irrigated and the deer loved the heck out of them.

I heard Black-eyed peas were high in Protein & worked well in spincast

I heard Black-eyed peas were high in Protein & worked well in spincast Until they get wet. And it doesn't take much water. Of course this year, you probably won't have that problem.
Silver spurs and gold tequila keep me hanging on. Pretty girls and old cantinas give me shelter from the storm.

I put out split BE Peas late last month, but haven't checked the cam.
I believe I paid $10 a bag
I'd ask him if he's pregnant. He missed a s__tload of periods. I'll take "things that look like a uterus" for $200 Alex.

We've been doing half corn half soy bean the past few years. That seems to work for us the best.
