Pinto Beans? - 07/25/11 09:51 PM

Anybody been feeding pinto beans? Went to lease over the weekend. Deer are hitting the protein hard but we also filled our spin feeders with pintos/corn mix. Hope it works!

save the beans til deer season, then maybe you can hear/smell 'em when they fart! grin

I dont know about feeding them, never tried it. We did plant a food plot wiht them earlier this year that was irrigated and the deer loved the heck out of them.

Until they get wet. And it doesn't take much water.

Of course this year, you probably won't have that problem.

We've been doing half corn half soy bean the past few years. That seems to work for us the best.
