I prefer to buy guns with little or no rounds down the pipe. It's just a preference. I have bought high round count guns, but to me it's always a risk. You have no idea what the previous owner(s) put the gun through.

It's like buying a used vehicle. You don't know what kind of driving the previous owner did with it. It may have 100,000 gentle miles on it. Or it might have 10 miles of hardcore offroad use.

I just bought a used glock 17, and it looks used.... but ya know what....love the way it shoots...I've only put about 10 clips thru it in the last 2 weeks....but, works everytime and shoots great...

With a Glock, you need to replace the recoil spring. $3.00 from Glock, and the Magazine Springs $ 3.00 each. Just keep shooting.
Rarely is anyone going to shoot enough to wear anything out on a Glock except the recoil spring. The XD`s have many many more moving parts. After going through their Armorers course I sold all my XD`s, and replaced them with Glocks. DO NOT DRY FIRE THE XD`s. They will break. They are not designed to be dry fired.
