Well just got some venison back this afternoon and decided to cook some for dinner. Well now I realize it's full of red and green bell peppers and has so much pork in it a person would get sick from all the oil the meat is soaked in. I can't even smell bell peppers without getting sick and it's totally uneatable. Made my day to piss money away.

Unless you requested it that way, which I'm sure you didn't being you hate bell peppers, I would be calling the processor tomorrow and having a talk.

Sounds like you got someone else's seasoned roast or fajitas. I got a call last year after I had already picked all of mine up that I had an order of tamales and fajitas that I hadn't picked up-I've never ordered either one in my life.

Don't worry I won't make the THF look bad. No reason to call him up being ornery without knowing the story. I really wouldn't mind but even the smell of bell peppers leaves me gagging.

I love bell peppers and if you lived closer then I'd take it off your hands!

I don't even think someone like you that appears to like greasy venison would like it. There was enough oil filling up the pan from 3 small patties that it looked like a deep fryer. Definatly would've given you the squirts. Well we'll see if I can have a diplomatic outcome in a bit.

WTH? I've never seen a processor put that stuff in venison. I definitely think you got someone else's stuff.

Unfortunatly it wasn't someone else's meat. He put a guilt trip on me saying that I should've told him no peppers but I think it's supposed to be the other way around. The excessive oil didn't get brought up since it was taken care of already. Didn't have to pay but I wish I could've kept it. It wasn't a whole deer since I donated the other 3 quarters so at least someone who needs meat will get it.

I would never use that guy again, that's crazy. I've been to several processing places and none of them have ever used bell pepper in their venison mixes. Is that all you got was some ground meat?

I usually do but I wanted some pork mixed in and it was just a quarter. I think I'll go back to my old way of doing it myself.
