Schmidt & Bender is being used by USMC snipers now, after comparing 25 different scopes.

Just make sure it has at least 4 knobs. Cause that's what snipers use. I'd try to find one w/ 5 or more knobs.

Leupy beats them all on their upper end...the way I figure it...you can get 2 for the price of 1. 2 rifles, 1 scope = no bueno

I haev a Leupold Mark 4, So I'm pretty sure that means they are the best.
My vote also goes to Leupold. That's how it works right?

Bushnell looks like a t ball bats on top of the gun Not as ugly as a Pentax, and a new Leupold aka Loopy will never be on another rifle I own.

Overall S&B but the value choice is Zeiss. Of the others only Swaro belongs in the same class.

Nah, won't make me happy but I bet it will make her! To be honest, Z6i 2.5-15x56 might be my next scope but it will be sitting on a Sako, not some stinking Remington!

Wait a second, I just placed an order for 2.5-16x50mm Bushnell Elite 6500's...so they must be the best! Couldn't resist the price, $574.99 shipped plus I got $75 in Amazon GC's. 30mm tube and all, now I don't need night vision!!!

I have a Kalhes CL 3-10x50 which I love having said that, I think a S&B I have been testing has nicer glass than Kahles, ever so slightly
Really, S&B, Kahles, Swaro, Ziess are all a step above optically from Nightforce, USO, IOR, etc..
2 steps above a top of the line Leupold, Nikon, etc..
Between the top 4 I would say get the one that has the features you want and preferably test back to back into very low light.
I recently tested a Kalhes CSX 1.5-6x42 directly against the S&B of the same spec.
The Kalhes was as bright into very, very low light but the S&B had better resolution, meaning for a deer hunter, a set of horns could be better evaluated at last light.
Now, to someone elses eyes, they may feel the opposite.. A good reason to test with your eyes and NOT in a gun store.
Another thing to factor in is how eye friendly the scope is, to me, some are just "easier" to get a good image fast

I would put S&B, US Optics, Zeiss Hensolt and Nightforce in the ring for the better built scopes. Everything else including Swarovski,Kahles and Leupold pale in an overall comparison ( quality of glass, tracking, ruggedness)
