We've hunted a place a coue times without success. We have pics at about 8 at night so we picked up a kill light. Gonna dump some extra corn out and some hog wild. Hopefully well see something.

good luck, we have the same plans. corn stays under the feeders all day and over night they are cleaned out with lots of piggy tracks. what color kill light did you get? we have the red and plan to hang some round tent lights under the feeders.

I'm not sure. Buddy picked it up yesterday.

Will rain affect their movement?

truthfully, this is my first year hunting. i got started right before deer season and have been waiting for the deer hunters to get them some before i started any nighttime hunting. i am going on what i read here. http://www.texashuntingforum.com/forum/u...the_rain#UNREAD i do have some low spots on my spot on the lease that they like to play in so the rain should help.

Right after a good rain they seem to peak their movement. I say this for our place in Haskell County. Maybe because the ground is softer after a good rain they tend to be on the go. Good luck, I wish I could go at night but I'm usually sippin a drink and smoking a stogie by night fall.

Took me a while but here are the pics. Wes killed his, but I missed. We tried the one-two-three-shoot, but I was a half count slow. Oh well, she was enough work when we got home. We put her in the cooler on ice for a week, and she is on the pit now. I have a thread in the cooking section.
