I just got a Polaris Sportsman XP 850 back in November and I love it!!! Tons of Power!!! Lots of ground clearance. I can get through mud with trail tires that my buddies with Hondas can't. I'm a big guy but when i get on with my 320 lb body weight it barely even squats!!!

Not true on the Artic Cats some offer a Kawasaki engine....
The canopy became his shroud; he hurtled to the ground. And he ain't gonna jump no more. Gory, gory, what a hell of a way to die, he ain't gonna jump no more!

My opinion is a Yamaha Rhino 700cc. Had 4 wheelers for years, but I bought a Rhino and will never go back!!! My Rhino goes deeper and stronger than any 4 wheeler I have ever had. All while driving with one hand. Just my .02....

I really haven't seen good things said about the Brute Force in this discussion. I have nothing but good to say about my 06 Kawasaki Brute Force 750 V Twin 4x4 with Mossy Oak Camo. I beat the crap out of it but keep the maint up on it. I've never had a problem with it.

I own a Kawasaki and love it. However, I believe most of the name brands are very good machines. The one thing I have never understood is why everyone now buys the extremely large engines. The smaller, lighter machines are easier to drive, steer, get unstuck, etc. It was not that long ago that a 250cc machine was the top - now I see 700cc machines and just not sure why a 4wheeler needs that kind of HP.

If I had to choose one fourwheeler to use when the world ends and the zombies take over, I'd have to go with the '95-'98 Honda Fourtrax 300 4x4....you just couldn't kill those things.

That's no lie. my 96 fourtrax has had a total of 4 oil changes ever and runs like a top every weekend for hours in the heat. I spray mesquite trees with it so it has plenty of hours for sure!

Honda all the way. Arctic Cats are to heavy and the weight distubution is not as good as a Honda. Polaris you have to stay out of the water and soupy mud or the stupid belt will slip!

If your going into mud and water--I hunt in the Louisiana swamps--you need a big bear. Designed for the tough stuff. Big Bears go where others fear to tread.

The best atv I've ever had is my '52 Ford 8N tractor.
